01 What we collect
Social Media Pal collects information you provide during onboarding including your business name, industry, goals, brand voice preferences, and uploaded media (photos and videos).
We also collect usage data such as posts created, platforms connected, and feature interactions to improve the product.
02 How we use your video and likeness
When you upload or record a brand video, Social Media Pal uses it solely to:
- Create an AI avatar or voice clone for generating video content for YOUR account only
- Improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated content specific to your brand
We do not: sell your likeness, use your video to train general-purpose AI models, share your video with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g. HeyGen for AI video generation), or use your likeness for any purpose beyond your own content creation.
03 Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase with encrypted storage. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
If you cancel your subscription, your content and strategy are preserved for 90 days. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted.
04 Your rights
- Request deletion of your account, brand profile, and all associated media at any time
- Export your data at any time
- Withdraw consent for AI avatar generation at any time
- Contact us at any time with privacy concerns
05 Third-party services
Social Media Pal uses the following third-party services to deliver its features:
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI content generation
- Supabase — Data storage and authentication
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
- HeyGen — AI video generation (when enabled)
Each service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices.
06 Age requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Social Media Pal and to consent to AI likeness generation.
